Orostachys Spinosa native to the Orient (Korea, China and Mongolia). I've seen some people here in the middle of England growing them outdoors in their garden all year round so they must be fairly hardy. I think of them as really angry sempervivums. I've overheard that is a sign that you are a hardcore Crassulaceae collector.
